Tropical Storm Dorian forms in the Eastern Atlantic

Tropical Storm Dorian has formed in the Eastern Atlantic and it is centered about 410 miles west-south west of Cape Verde islands. It is still far away from Florida coasts. Please continue to visit our website for updates on TS Darian. From the forecast map, it looks like that it will be near the Florida coasts by mid to end of next week.

Hurricane Sandy Update – 10/24/12 5 PM

SE Florida has been issued a tropical storm warning. For details on TS Sandy please visit: Sun Sentinel TS Sandy For the time being, Palm Beach schools will be open on Thursday and Friday. Broward county schools will be closed on Friday for Employee Planning Day. Broward county schools have cancelled all planned outdoor activities for Thursday. Stay tuned for further updates.
