TS Erika – No threat to Florida anymore!!!

Tropical storm Erika dissipated into a wave in the Caribbean today. Unless, it strengthens in the open water west of Florida, it is no more a threat to Florida!   Although, it is no more a tropical storm, South Florida will get 3 to 5 inches of rain starting from tonight, Sun Sentinel reports. TS Erica Update!

The storm’s path has changed again! Following is the forecast map courtesy of Sun Sentinel! It is about to hit South Florida as a tropical storm on Sunday night/Monday morning. Heavy rain and gusty winds (up to 50 mph) is expected for South Florida.

Tropical Storm Erika!

Good news! Sun sentinel reports that Tropical storm Erika’s projected path has shifted towards Treasure Coast.   So, South Florida may be spared from direct hit from the storm. South Florida may experience Tropical storm conditions on Sunday. According to forecasters, it is still too early to predict what will happen for us. Stay tuned! We will keep updating the situation.
